Visit our online store - join and donate to the WYMLA PTSA

Hello WYMLA!

The PTSA board has been hard at work over the first four weeks of school.

We have been working on creating amazing experiences for students. Stop Hunger Now is an event where the boys will package thousands of meals for hungry families across the world. They will pack these meals on October 6, 2016 after school. Mark your calendar we need volunteers of all ages. We will also hold our first General PTSA Membership Meeting at 5:30 p.m. immediately after the event. If you can't attend and volunteer, please plan to attend the General Meeting. Jam Ice Cream Truck will also be on campus at this time serving up delicious treats for purchase.

John Chavis Memorial Park has been adopted by WYMLA as one of our major service projects. This park is the cultural center of south Raleigh and will undergo a $12.5 upgrade over the next two years. The PTSA is meeting with officials for Raleigh Parks Department to find additional opportunities for the young men to get involved.

WYMLA needs quality internship programs for your Juniors and Seniors, if your company has unpaid internship opportunities for our early college students please contact me.

The PTSA runs on heart and belief in the school. We turn every dollar into $5.07 of benefit for students and staff. But we need those dollars to start. PLEASE JOIN AND DONATE TO THE WYMLA PTSA. These donations are investments in our young men that go directly toward creating opportunities, improving their learning environment, and rewarding their awesomeness. All of the administrative costs are covered, every dollar invested goes towards the programs for the boys.

Please visit our Spirit Wear Page at WYMLYPTSA.com to see investment opportunities, and purchase spirit wear for your Phoenix (and yourself)! Thank You. Scott 919.208.8368 sh@changingstreets.com
