There are important dates coming up at Wake Young Men’s Leadership Academy.

All Students and Parents.

Early Release September 30, 2016

Thursday October 06, 2016 is our Stop Hunger Now service project. All volunteers will pack much needed meals for those in need. Those that participated last year loved this project. Mark it on your calendar. More information is coming soon.

Sophomores and Juniors

1) What: PSAT EXAM

2) Where: WYMLA’s Thompson Campus

3) When: Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 7:30 am – 11:30 am

4) Transportation: All students taking the PSAT need to come to WYMLA’s Thompson Campus by 7:15 am. Juniors and Seniors taking the test who do not drive to school will be transported by minibus to the SAU Campus after the PSAT is over – so they may attend classes there in the afternoon.

If you have not already registered for the PSAT, the deadline has now been extended to Thursday, September 22nd. SAU Campus students may pay $15.00 to Ms. Sumner, and Thompson Campus students may pay that amount to Ms. Merriss or Ms. Outlaw in the front office.

There are so many opportunities for the students in Wake County. If your son (or Daughter) has interest in Architecture, Construction or Engineering fields the local ACE Mentor program will have an interest meeting September 22, 2016. For more information go to ACEMentor.org. WYMLA students participated in this last year and had a great time.
