Transportation is provided from WYMLA to the appropriate school for practice but ride homes are not provided.

Clubs are a big part of WYMLA culture. robotics, science olympiad, chess, beta club, debate, National Honor Society, Key Club, and many others have been offered. Odds are pretty good that if there is student interest the club will be available. In the past there has been activity bussing for after school activities. IF THIS IS IMPORTANT PLEASE CONFIRM WITH SCHOOL.

Outside Activities are also a big part of our students lifes. Weather they are faith based, athletic, or simply topics of interest. We have many young men that have worked at mentorship programs in many state and county operations in Downtown Raleigh. Work is always being done to further integrate our little school into the fabric of Downtown Raleigh. For the last two years the young men of WYMLA have participated and sponsored events at the John Chavis City Park.

Our young men excel in every environment, they have captained sports teams at Broughton, won statewide debate competitions, and won honors recognition in different mentorship programs.
